A faster path to verified data
Ingesting utility bills is the easy part. Verifying that data is where sustainability teams lose weeks. This quarter we went after that bottleneck.
In June we added Find Value in PDF, which lets reviewers click an eye icon next to any extracted field (think: usage, cost, account number, dates). It’s easy to jump straight to the page of the original bill where that value came from. In July we added full review navigation, with prev/next controls that let you step through your entire review queue without leaving the screen. Your filters carry through, so you see only the entries that need attention.
Why this matters:
- Every extracted value traces back to its source document in one click. This is verification you can show any auditor.
- Reviewers move through an entire queue in one continuous flow instead of opening and closing documents one at a time.
Prev/next controls let reviewers step through the full queue without leaving the screen.
Missing data, chased automatically
Every sustainability lead knows the ritual: open the gaps report, find the responsible provider, write the email. Our new bulk reminders feature puts an end to this.
Select all sites and providers or choose specific ones, then click Send Reminder. Tracera will email every assigned data provider in a single action. Each provider sees only the sites and collectors they’re responsible for, with a pre-filled missing-data table. You can loop in account managers or finance partners directly from the same modal.
For a more detailed offline view, export the data to Excel. The export provides a complete picture of data coverage across your portfolio, clearly showing where information is missing and where follow-up is required.

A deeper Scope 3 toolkit
Scope 3 means managing data across many suppliers, methodologies, and data sources — and being ready to explain all of it when audit season comes. This quarter we gave our Scope 3 tool two significant upgrades.
Interactive dashboards now live directly inside our Scope 3 app. Two views — Emissions and Inputs — let you slice your footprint by category, supplier, business unit, methodology and emission factor. See which suppliers drive the bulk of your footprint, which categories are still 100 percent spend-based and ripe for a methodology upgrade, and where to target decarbonization or data quality efforts next.
Alongside the dashboards, every Scope 3 category now has a dedicated Methodology page: a structured write-up editor for how you calculated emissions, plus a file repository for the workbooks and supporting documents behind the numbers. When an auditor asks, everything lives in one place. No more hunting through email and shared drives.

Dashboards that answer the real questions
A total footprint number only tells you so much. The harder questions are whether you’re improving, how sites compare fairly and whether you’ll hit your targets. Our two new dashboards close that gap.
The Intensity dashboard allows you to compare Scope 1 and 2 emissions and energy usage across sites, business units, countries, and time periods. Normalize performance by site area, revenue, or production units to identify which locations are performing above or below expectations.
The Targets dashboard shows your actual emissions against your targets. Three KPI cards answer key questions: Am I on track this year? How does year-to-date compare to my target year? How did my last completed year perform? A multi-year trajectory chart plots your actuals against the target trendline running through to your end year.

- Fair, normalized comparisons replace apples-to-oranges footprint totals.
- Progress against targets is visible at a glance, not buried in a year-end analysis.
- Leadership questions get answered in one screen instead of one spreadsheet exercise.
